Andros is connected to the port of Rafina situated in eastern Attica, with up to 8 daily ferry sailings during high season ( at a distance of approximately 35 miles). Proposal for construction

The following study for the development of the area has been formed according to the current city planning provisions and constructional rules, and following the proposal of today's proprietors. This proposal includes the building of a hotel unit of 308 beds, with reception hall - restaurant, maintaining the existing building (Villa Evanthia), and swimming-pool.

Lage

Mit 383,022 Quadratkilometern[2] ist Andros nach Naxos die zweitgrößte Kykladeninsel. In unmittelbarer Nähe zur Nord- und Ostseite liegen einige unbewohnte kleine Felseninseln. Die Gavrionisia liegen in der Bucht von Gavriou (Όρμος Γαυρίου) an der Südseite. Am weitesten entfernt, aber zu Andros gehörig, sind die Kalogeri-Felsen rund 42 km nordöstlich inmitten der Ägäis.

Es ist mit Oliven und anderen Obstplantagen bepflanzt und bietet einen Panoramablick auf den malerischen Hafen und das Ägäische Archipel.
